Priyadarshini Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (PIPER) was established in the year 2005, as per the norms of AICTE and PCI under the Chairmanship of Sri  Chandu Rama Rao, a renowned educationalist and Philanthropist  and Smt. Ch. Vijayalakshmi  as its Secretary and Correspondent. PIPER is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University and is located in rural area  of the  Guntur city in a sprawling 2.5  acre campus. The College is well equipped with state-of-art laboratories, library, gymnasium and canteen, apart from a sophisticated Animal House and herbal garden. Other salient features are a potentially dedicated Faculty, latest teaching methods, Intensive & Remedial Coaching, training for competitive examinations, well furnished Seminar Hall, active Placement Cell, Industry-Institute Interaction Cell and facilities for Computer training, soft skills, personality development and extra and co-curricular activities.

The courses offered include B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy in two  specialties, i.e Pharmaceutics   and  Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharm.D (6 Years Doctor of Pharmacy Course) .
